Short Stories by Leah Batchelor, Arturo Galang, Alexandra Topping, Rebekah Nesbitt, Phillip Green, Stephen Gifford, Lisa Forsythe, Rene Boyd and Kieran Stewart.

‘Short Stories’ is a collection of nine very different tales: Coffee Contemplations, I’m Not Leaving, Jasper, Dreaming, Mike’s Double Life, The Attic, The Awakening and The Secret of the Old Clock created by individuals with acquired brain injuries who virtually attended weekly creative writing workshops with creative writer, Shannon Yee.

The stories have been recorded and read by actors and are intended to take you away from the reality of our collective experiencing of the COVID 19 pandemic and lockdown in order to escape momentarily into different creative worlds where the imagination can roam freely.

Brain Injury Matters (NI) was established in 2013 as an independent regional third sector organisation supporting, promoting and empowering those individuals and families affected by acquired brain injury.
