Welcome to the first of our Clay & Cake nights, with visual artist Kerrie Hanna.
In this workshop, we will be stepping back in time to make clay pots in the same way our ancestors did, using the meditative coiling method which will calm even the busiest of minds. Working with the clay, we will explore how we can use simple techniques to build larger bowl forms.
A practical, hands-on workshop where you can chill out, connect with other Big Kids and build on sculptural skills along the way.
As with all of our Big Kid’s Society events, there’s absoloutely zero experience required! This class is all about trying something new, being creative and having fun!
