Hugh W. Brown (aka Jitterbug Jackson) has been entertaining audiences all over the world for more than 25 years.
I USED TO DREAM OF ROCKET SHIPS, Jitterbug Jackson’s signature show, is an exhilarating blend of circus, music, dance, song and comedy. An absurd and inventive one-man cabaret that explodes with energy from the get-go, allowing Jitterbug, with a healthy dollop of quirk and charm, to skilfully lead the audience towards a thrilling and celebratory finale.
You can expect to see the traditional circus skills such as juggling, diabolo, and high unicycle but it’s Hugh’s ability as a raconteur that sets this show apart from others as he weaves his way effortlessly from one skit to the next, each scene carefully crafted and choreographed to an extraordinary soundtrack designed to entertain and illuminate all the action.
Challenging the conventions of space and time, Hugh will ask the audience to ponder on the endless possibilities that life offers, consider all our dreams and ambitions, ultimately celebrating where it is we are, right here and right now.
