Con O’Neill Bus Tour

Leave the streets of Belfast and take to the hills to learn the sad story of the fall of Con O’Neill, the last Lord of Castle Reagh, owner of an enormous territory that included all north Down.

Con died in 1619 having lost most of his land and his castle. This led to the first successful plantation in Ulster. Find out where the castle stood, and maybe be inaugurated as ruler of Castle Reagh. This trip back in time visits the ground that Con walked, and the forgot corner where he is buried.
