Let’s Celebrate is an art installation inspired by the television series Bake-Off
From a cake to a full-blown feast, food is often integral to celebrations, bringing people together to share memories and significant moments in their lives.
In remembering our own personal celebrations, we have weaved in our own memories, photos, and stories to create a delicious table installation laden with quirky and imaginative fake bakes. A feast for the eyes, a celebration of guilt free cakes, sweets and tray bakes.
Brain Injury Matters (NI) is a third sector organisation supporting, promoting and empowering people affected by acquired brain injury and their families. People with an acquired brain injury can have a range of disabilities which may be physical, cognitive, emotional, behavioural or social. They are supported by creative practitioners to explore a range of arts forms including poetry, creative writing, visual arts, dance, drama, choir and music, to make their varied lived experiences visible to the broader public and to promote respect for their inherent dignity.
The installation will be available to view Tuesday – Sunday, 12-9pm
