The close proximity of the shipyards meant that 1000s of men from East Belfast were employed by Harland & Wolff. During this two-hour journey, participants will follow the stories of three East Belfast men who were part of this enormous workforce. The contribution of these working-class men is marked forever on the slipways, and a chance will be offered to discover why they were so significant. Walk through shipyard history in Titanic’s own footprint, hear of both the joys and sorrows at her launch, and be thrilled at the beauty created by tireless workers over a century ago.
