Festival 2021

We're so excited to finally share this year's festival programme with you - featuring 100+ artists across more than 80 events with the theme of connection, taking place both in-person and online. We have created a really diverse programme that allows you to enjoy the festival from the comfort of your own home, outdoors in-person, or at a small number of east Belfast venues as part of a socially distanced indoor audience.

The festival is set packed full of unique, exciting, events that will  allow us to connect with friends and family, performers and facilitators in a safe and accessible way.  Expect music, theatre, film, books & spoken word, walks & tours, comedy, circus & cabaret and events for children and families.

Whether you join us live in-person, or online we hope the festival gives you the much-anticipated opportunity to connect with the performers that inspire you and return to some of your favourite east Belfast indoor and outdoor spaces as we celebrate the return of live events. The pandemic continues to present us with challenges, however we have created a safe, accessible festival where your wellbeing will be our main priority. For further information on Covid-19 measures that will be in place at all of our in-person events, click here.

A huge thanks to our Principal Funder, Arts Council of Northern Ireland, for their support, and the vital support of all of the festival funders and sponsors who make the festival what it is.
