What is it?
We want to bring together a small, diverse group of locals from East Belfast to help make sure that their voices and experiences are reflected in future events and programmes.
Who can apply?
If you are 18+ and received a Creative Citizens postcard at your address you can apply. You do not need any relevant experience with arts or community projects.
How do I register?
There is an application button at the top of this page. Click in and fill in the short online form by the 22 July to register interest. All applicants will be contacted with an outcome by 27 July.
Will I be paid?
Participants will be given a voucher at the end of each of the four sessions, these will total £350. Support for travel, childcare and access needs will also be available.
The Creative Citizens Panel
Creative Citizens is a new project from EastSide Arts, bringing together up to 12 local residents, from the Newtownards Road area, to help shape future arts and creative activity in East Belfast. You don't need any arts experience, just your own ideas, opinions and experience of the East.
The project will take place over four friendly, facilitated sessions. Participants will explore local issues, develop ideas, and help decide how a dedicated creative budget is spent. Applicants should be available on all of the below dates.
There will also be a optional discussion held on Culture Night, where we will share insights from the Creative Citizens Panel. This will take place on Friday 18 September 5PM - 6PM.
Those who attend the four core sessions will receive £350 in shopping vouchers, with travel, childcare and access support available.
